Guzzler
repairs are
all set and
ready to go,
just need
about 20 or
30 guys to
volunteer.
We plan on
repairing
five or six
guzzlers in
the Landfair
Valley area.
The dates
Nov. 17, 18,
19, 20.
Where: From
Goffs go
North
about 15
miles
on Landfair
road to
Cedar Canyon
Road. Go 6
tenths of a
mile past
Cedar
Canyon, on
your left
will be a
gate
with a pvc
pipe painted
red on the
upper
third. Go
thru
gate about
two or three
hundred
yards to the
camp site,
you do not
need four
wheel
drive.
We have
forty acres
to camp on
with limited
facilities.
Bring your
food and
lots of
water and
some
firewood. I
could not
get the
cooks for
this project
but they
have
volunteered
for December. Maybe
someone
wants to
volunteer to
be camp
host???? All
tools and
materials
will be at
the camp
site, but if
some of you
could bring
one 60 lb
bag of
mortar or
ready mix
concrete,
this would
be a good
thing just
let me know.
I will be at
the meeting
place by 12
noon on
Friday. If
you want to
just spend
one day or 4
days it's up
to you. We
will work
each day
from 8 till
noon and 3pm
till
finished.
Between noon
and 3pm we
can quail
hunt or just
relax.
Last year
was a great
success
because of
the amount
of
volunteers
that donated
their time
and expense
to this
important
project. We
hope to
continue
until all
100 guzzlers
have been
repaired.
A pet is ok
at the camp
site but NO
PETS are
allowed at
the work
site.
We will have
one central
fire, no
other fires
will be
allowed on
the
property,
cook stoves
are ok to
use.
