Where: Kingston Moutains
Hi all we were able to
fly in the tank and rain
mat to Right Wrong Ridge
last week so now we need
to install it. Last year
a work party cleaned the
site up and dug a hole
for the new tank so a
lot of the work has been
done. We still need to
dig out some more,
install the rain mat and
hook up the pipe. A
small brush break will
need to be placed around
the rain mat to keep the
cattle off the mat. We
need 20 people on this
job and it will be the
first one of the year
and a chance to come out
see old friends and meet
new ones. As always we
will have coffee and
donuts in the morning
and cook BBQ and beans
Saturday night. The
date is Saturday
November 3rd
in the Kingston
Mountains. Take I-15
toward Las Vegas and 30
miles east of Baker Ca.
take the Cima Road turn
off, turn north over the
hiway and you will be on
Kingston Road, about 10
miles north the road
will fork but stay
straight ahead for
another 15 miles, When
you pass Horse Thief
spring go another 2
miles to the old mine
site on the left side of
the road. We will be
there Friday afternoon
and if you come early we
will fix hamburgers and
hot dogs. It’s about 2
and a half hours past
Barstow and Baker is the
last place to get
supplies’ need a couple
of picks and a chain saw
if you have them, also
fire wood. Thanks for
your support and work
last year and if you can
make this one the sheep
and deer need the water.
Let me know if you’re
coming so I can have
enough food. Gary
